Break a leg Big Ed

What others are saying about our esteemed politicians and their unique style of ruling.

Not many surrogates this week, but Rendell vs. Richardson promises to be interesting, with Richardson proclaimed by the media to be a towering intellect and Rendell being the old fashioned, break-your-legs mob type.

We're a group of regular Joes (& Joettes) that are tired of being tired when thinking about the old bulls in Harrisburg. Get rid of them.

We want reform.

We also want a state government that not only hears us, but listens.

To that end, it isn't just about backroom deals and business as usual, it is also about patronage and the programs and departments started for patronage. If the buddies of Harrisburg can't get jobs on their own, don't give them jobs they can't do on the public dole.

Taken together, our state government and administration is the fattest, laziest and slowest in the nation, except when it is drooling over a new program, new tax or new way to spend our money. It is time to stop them. Now.
